"So What Inning are We in Now?" Published

This piece was written during my career in institutional investment management, prior to joining Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2017. It reflects the unique circumstances of the time, and my analysis thereof; it is preserved here for the historical and intellectual record.

Last summer my colleagues and I published a position paper titled “Subprime Strikeout: Assessing the Subprime Mortgage Market.” “Subprime Strikeout” summarized the development of the subprime mortgage market, examined the distress that was forming and discussed our views on how the subprime market would develop.

Today we followed “Subprime Strikeout” by publishing “So What Inning are We in Now? Re-assessing the Subprime Mortgage Market.” The purpose of the new paper is to reflect on how our previously expressed opinions have played out and to assess where exactly we are in the chronology of the subprime crisis. A copy of our new paper can be downloaded here.
